Contemporary art collector and diplomat, Juan Carlos Bendana-Pinel definitely put aside his career to open a gallery in the Parisian district of Le Marais in 2008. The focus was placed on creation in all its forms (painting, sculpture, photography, video, installation, drawing) and a program laying great emphasis on international artists, mostly European and Latin American.

The focus was placed on creation in all its forms (painting, sculpture, photography, video, installation, drawing) and a program laying great emphasis on international artists, mostly European and Latin American.

\n\nFor the first time in Europe, he held exhibitions of artists Pablo Lobato and Pedro Motta from Brazil, Florencia Rodriguez Giles and Mauro Giaconi from Argentina, Alejandra Laviada from Mexico, Giancarlo Scaglia from Peru, and Niklas Goldbach from Germany.\n\nHe is also the only representative in France of the Swedish Maria Friberg and Thomas Broomé, the Germans Matthias Reinmuth and Julio Rondo, the Argentinian Miguel Rothschild, the Brazilians Dias \u0026amp; Riedweg and Caio Reisewitz, the Swiss Olivier Richon and the Israeli Irit Batsry.\n\nHe also promotes artists living in France, in particular Steven Le Priol, Christiane Pooley, Morgane Denzler, Alberto Cont.\n\nBendana | Pinel Contemporary Art Gallery participates in international fairs: FIAC, (OFF)ICIELLE, Paris Photo, Drawing Now (Paris), ART-O-RAMA (Marseille), Artissima (Turin), Loop (Barcelona), Arco (Madrid), ArteBA (Buenos Aires), ARTRIO (Rio de Janeiro), ARTLIMA (Lima), Zonamaco (Mexico City), sp-arte (São Paulo), Ch.ACO (Santiago)
