Founded in 1966, Galerie Templon has always been committed to the promotion of the French art scene.
For the first virtual edition of Art Paris, the presentation focuses on four French artists of the program, all painters: Claude Viallat, one of the leaders of what is probably known as the last French avant-garde movement, "Supports-Surfaces" ; Gérard Garouste and Jean-Michel Alberola, two artists who championed the revival of painting and the return to the Old Masters in the eighties; and finally Philippe Cognée, whose language informed by photography and video, embodies a new generation of figurative painters.
