\n\nOver the last twenty-four years, the galler... more >> The gallery was founded in 1995 in a 500sq. foot, one –room space located on an upper floor of a cast iron loft building on Broadway in SoHo. After a decade downtown, the gallery relocated to a 5,000sq. foot street level gallery in Chelsea for the next ten years. In 2015, Casey Kaplan expanded once again to a 10,000sq. foot two-story gallery on West 27th street between 6th and 7th Avenues.
\n\nOver the last twenty-four years, the gallery and its artists have grown in parallel; hosting the first exhibitions of artists that have since become mainstays of contemporary art dialogues. Gallery artists are consistently included in international biennales, editions of documenta, and have solo exhibitions at important institutions worldwide. The gallery will celebrate its 25 year of operation in 2020
