Working with artists at various phases in their careers, the gallery is committed to facilitating individual narratives whether first solo shows or specific investigations within more established practices.
\n\nIn 2015 the gallery shifted from a weekend project space to a full-time gallery, representing artists including Sam Anderson, Mira Dancy, Willa Nasatir and Adam Gordon. Among an expanding gallery roster, Chapter NY has also provided a flexible platform for non-represented artists working across a range of media and experience, such as Keltie Ferris, Jesse Stecklow and Anicka Yi.\n\nIn September 2016 the gallery moved to a new location on the Lower East Side, providing the artists an expanded space to explore personal projects. Russo brings over a decade of gallery experience to actualizing Chapter NY's program, drawing on her longstanding relationships to encourage ambitious projects. By primarily focusing on solo-presentations and working closely with each artist, Chapter NY helps realize tightly envisioned exhibitions that foster artistic experimentation and growth
