Galería Elvira González was founded in February of 1994 by Elvira González, previoulsy owner of Galería Theo for 30 years. The gallery is now run by Elvira and Isabel Mignoni, daughters of the founder, and it's focused in the XXth and XXIst century art. The gallery has special interest in European and American art of the second half of the XXth century and the work of contemporary artists.

Galería Elvira González was founded in February of 1994 by Elvira González, previoulsy owner of Galería Theo for 30 years. The gallery is now run by Elvira and Isabel Mignoni, daughters of the founder, and it's focused in the XXth and XXIst century art. The gallery has special interest in European and American art of the second half of the XXth century and the work of contemporary artists.

\n\nGalería Elvira González has held exhibitions that have had an impact in the general trajectory of Spanish art galleries. Among those exhibitions are Rothko, 1995; Picasso and Women, 1996; 7,000 years of Modern Sculpture. A Permanent Aesthetics, 1997; Calder / Tanguy, 1999; Minimal Art, 2003; Donald Judd, Progressions 1960-1970, 2009; Antoni Tàpies. The 60s and 70s, March 2012; Michelangelo Pistoletto, April-May 2012; Robert Mapplethorpe. Works from 1980 to 1989, 2013; Fausto Melotti, November 2014 - January 2015; Sol LeWitt, 2015; Juan Muñoz, 2016 and Joan Miró, January - March 2017.\n\nNew artists as Miquel Barceló, Uta Barth, Waltercio Caldas, Olafur Eliasson, Robert Irwin, Chema Madoz, Joan Miró, Robert Mapplethorpe, Yoshihiro Suda and Lee Ufan have recently joined the Gallery.\n\nThe Gallery works with major museums and private institutions and provides guidance to private and public collections. Together with the exhibition program, the gallery holds an extensive collection of works by artists of the XXth - XXIst century.\n
