As a group, these artists offer a diverse representation of contemporary art in Israel, with a focus on the interactions between humans and the natural landscape. Gueta's poetic sculptural work illustrates this process, which invites us to connect with nature and feel its expression of sadness. Guetta's artworks are exhibited and sold around the world, including at the Pompidou Center in Paris, the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in New York, the British Victoria and Albert Museum, the Tel Aviv Museum of Art and others.Zidon's sculptures’ organic form seems to have originated from nature itself, meditating on questions of balance and connection. In the painting Memory, three stones stand as a monument of a balanced nature while echoing a form of spiritual intimacy. In addition to participating in a variety of exhibitions, Zidon created monumental installations using her unique techniques. The artist Jonathan Gold, graduate of Rijksakademie in Amsterdam, exhibited his works in group and solo exhibitions in galleries and museums in Israel and all over the world. In his paintings there is a conflict between the space the characters reside in and their physical body, alongside a formal wandering between the figurative and the abstract that in a certain way represents the tension between the presence of the human actuality in the space and the power structures that surround it. In Grunberg's paper artworks Erosions, he seeks to explore the hidden and internal dimension of the paper, while digging to the thin and delicate depths of it, revealing layers that are hidden from the viewers eye. These works create a third dimension with topographical and geological values with amorphic shapes, inspired by the submarine aesthetics. His artworks can be found in multiple collections around the world. The soothing movement of the eucalyptus foliage in Wolff's paintings, deals with the exploration of the urban nature and the human perception of nature as a function, while articulating the tension between the local and the global that is inherent to the Israeli art world. Wolff has exhibited in many solo and group exhibitions in Israel, Italy, USA, India and more. Recycled materials, including plastic bags, old paintings and more, are reincarnated in Wolff's art, to create diverse concepts of beauty, patterns, aesthetics, and crafts.Eyal Sasson, Bezalel and Royal College of London graduate, is an Israeli painter that deals with the deconstruction of the visual image. Sasson's subversive fluid painted plants combine elements of body and nature in a daring and wild combination of colors inspired by classic Japanese prints and contemporary animation and create a state of observation that is more mindful to our perception of nature. Among his many accomplishments, he has been awarded the America Israel Cultural Foundation award two consecutive years (2000, 2001). Nomi Tannhauser, Artist and curator was born in the USA, and lives and works in Jerusalem. She is a Bezalel and Leeds University graduate, and co-founder of the Antea art gallery for Women. In her works, Tannhauser explores the intimacy of the body and its significance in a feministic, cultural and political context. In Tannhauser's series of paintings, Maidens in Blue, nudity is engaged from a unique perspective that explores the relations between the model, the painter and the viewer while committing to a dialogue with the canonical master Picasso and his contemporaries.Nox contemporary art gallery is based in Tel-Aviv, Jaffa Port, in an impressive ancient building that was renovated by the esteemed architect Ilan Pivko.Nox gallery is focused on contemporary Israeli and international art.The gallery represents established mid-career and emerging artists who are creating original significant contemporary artworks in a variety of media, that includes painting, sculpture, photography, video and performance art.Nox contemporary gallery was established in 2014 by Limor Lahav Margulis, a curator and entrepreneur.www.noxgallery.comCONTEXT Art Miami (www.contextartmiami.com) the international contemporary fair, Taking place December 3 – 8, 2019, will feature 96 galleries from 28 countries including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Cuba, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Nigeria, The Netherlands, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Ukraine, United Kingdom and United States.
