The main focus of the gallery is on acrylic paintings from
Spinifex Country and the APY Lands as well as on bark paintings and
sculptures from Arnhem Land. A fine contingent of Tapa (barkcloth) from
Papua New Guinea is also available.

At ART Paris 2020 ARTKELCH does present:

- new works by Nonggirrnga Marawili. Her artworks on bark, recycled paper and
larrakitj (hollow log) capture the landscape and the forces of nature
(wind, fire and water), radically transformed and reimagined in a very
personal artistic vision. Marawili is one of the most innovative and
distinctive Aboriginal artists working today. Her new series of pink works
adds colours from found magenta print toner to her traditional palette of
natural ochres.

- a black and white show of memorial poles and works on board by Djirrirra
Wunungmurra, an exciting melange of organic and geometric forms.

- new works by the Spinifex Arts Project. The artists´cooperative became
known for regaining 55.000 km² of their traditional land by painting it.
Collaborative artworks have been a feature of the Spinifex Arts Project
ever since.

ARTKELCH has set a high benchmark for quality, dependability and respect in
all dealings with artists and their work. The gallery sources art solely
from community-based, Aboriginal-owned art centres, a clear statement on
provenance, authenticity and fair trade of Aboriginal Art.
