ARTSCIENCE is a group exhibition curated by artist and inventor Anna Ehrsam.
The twenty artists in this show make works of art which reflect science and art coming together in innovative and poetic ways. The work ranges from paintings made with stone pigments, experimental sound art (psychoacoustics) and pioneering neuroscience to applied research into prefrontal cortex and memory formation. The show engages crucial topics such as global warming, artificial intelligence, particle physics, quantum mechanics, metaphysics, and astrophysics.

Art and science are both fields of endeavor that explore physical, material, psychological, and metaphysical phenomena in an effort to increase understanding about the universe and our place in it. Both art and science use systems of knowledge, materials, techniques, and tools to push beyond the boundaries of what is known, imagined, or hypothesized. Humans have always used their sensory apparatus as the primary instrument for gathering knowledge about the physical and material world. Going into alternative dimensions, creating new ideas, forms, and embodiments: this is what artists and scientists do. Often these new ideas and inventions start with an inspired moment, an epiphany where the right and left sides of the brain are working in concert to enable the fullest thought potential. In this space where intuition and imagination converge with reason and logic there is profound generative power and freedom. This is where art and science are born.
