In the summer of 2019, I visited the students in rural Concepcion, Paraguay, that were being supported by the Coins for Kids program created by Youth Volunteers Organization (YVO). With my mom, 7th-grade YVO member Jacob Kim, and his mother, we took the three students in Paraguay and took them to Asuncion, a city. They had never been outside of their rural town before, and seeing their reactions to the modern style mall and the escalator inside it was something I could not have experienced anywhere else. We wanted to express our experiences through art, and show others the story of Evani, Viviana, and Lydia.
