Female beauty and power over men have long been attributed to supernatural power. This has given rise to many legends about beautiful but treacherous nymphs, sirenas and other supernatural beings inhabiting the earth, the aquatic and celestial worlds.
The gentle gender is a collective term for female representatives. It is related to the physical differences between the sexes. But is gender equal to having no power? The myths surrounding women reflect society's complex attitude towards femininity and the power that women wield in the natural world. Doesn't the muse have power over the creator? Mermaids and forest nymphs can simultaneously destroy or show a safe path.

This exhibition presents a series of photographs that are dedicated to various mythological female hypostasis.

Together with Jason Washington, we will dive into the underwater world where sirens live. They attract with their beauty and grace to stay longer in their blue, unprecedented world. But the sunken ships in the background remind of the treachery of these creatures.

Bella Kotak, the photographer, will lead the forest paths into the magic forest, which is inhabited by nymphs. Her pictures are filled with mystery, inspired by nature, fairy tales and strong feminine characters. Bella creates portraits of women who simply take your breath away with their magical and intricate images. From luxurious dresses and majestic accessories to flower fields and mysterious haze, each photo of Bella reveals a charming story.

Tim Walker's muses are very different. They surprise, attract and sometimes shock, as do the works they inspire. In any case, it is impossible to pass by these colorful unusual images filled with stories. They live in their parallel, legendary worlds. If his heroines were able to tame a lion or a crocodile, then what about a man?

The women in Peter Lindemann's lens are absolutely real and yet they capture the viewer's attention from the very first sight. In his works, the photographer rarely uses colour so that nothing distracts the viewer from the characters of the picture.

The legends of fairy-tale women reflect the values and beliefs of the cultures that created them and continue to shape our understanding of gender, power, and identity.
