Folded works in paper, cotton, felt and synthetic materials and even steel now dominate his artistic work.

Galerie Renate Bender was founded in 1987 and is located since April 2014 at Türkenstraße 11 in Munich, nearby the Munich Pinakotheks. From the very beginning the Gallery has featured international contemporary art that focuses on the reduction of forms in painting, photography and sculpture, primarily Minimalist, monochrome, and Concrete art on either traditional materials like canvas and paper as well as mixed media.
