It is a concept which combines imagination with reality, realism with abstract, and real life with art, having the viewer step inside the piece, looking up at an abstract painted sky. It is an idea of taking a familiar landmark and inserting an abstract sky above it.

The message behind #AbstractPhotoReality is that of hope and positivity, inspiring humanity to change our destructive ways, so in a way it is Art Against Pollution.

The narrative tells the story of a scientist who releases an agent onto the wind that would stain pollution, each different pollutant in a different color, so it remains present and obvious (in our face) therefore finally inciting us to seek change collectively.
The way it ties into our Flor Del Sol story is that our protagonist “flor” experiences or rather sees the world’s pollution in colors, finally convincing herself to ask the Creator to allow her to exist on the surface of the Sun as a protest to humanity’s destruction.

After extensive research to see if this concept of painted skies was being applied by any other artist, we came to learn that it was in fact not used by anyone, thus making JuanCarlos the first.

First debuted in 2017 by the Red Dot/Spectrum Art Fairs, under Planet3arth Art Exhibits.
