Danielle, an accomplished non-objective painter, and Jon, a representational symbolist, were simultaneously struck by the intense dialog occurring between their pieces. The two artists’ work cannot be more different in approach, technique, and execution, yet there is an intense synergy of concept, mood, and viewpoint. Both of these artists look at their subjects through an unconventional lens that yields surprising, often delightful, and always unorthodox results.
